Predictive maintenance
Monitoring system can play this role very well as long as apart from illustrating the signals received from the plant, can also exploit them to predict optimum operation output and identity possible problems. This process can limit the time-to- respond at event such as PID, insulation resistance (Riso) and inverter derating which occur unexpectedly with small prior signals and can create a domino effect.
Preventive maintenance
Preventive maintenance is the set of systematic operations conducted over the facilities and its equipment to keep them in optimum working condition in order to reduce the risk of interruption of use, alterations or disturbances of their function, its operating parameters or results, thus extending their life and maintaining its performance to maximum levels.
Corrective maintenance
Corrective maintenance is the set of non- systematic interventions implemented in order to quickly resolve any detected plant or equipment breakdowns or failure.
Cleaning
In order to ensure the optimal performers of the PV system, regular cleaning of the panels is required. Gazania O&M will be responsible for cleaning and washing of PV panels during the maintenance period. Routine cleaning and washing of the PV panels will be needed to assure maximum power output.
